  • Log in to your account
  • Select new project
  • Select and enter the desired storm event rainfall depth.
  • Select an appropriate rainfall distribution curve, and import it into Surge through a .xls file
  • Import GIS shapefiles for all components of the storm drain system and drainage basins (pipes, manholes, ponds)
  • Select the appropriate data fields for each component parameter
  • Run simulation

Although Surge is not yet in its official release state, below are a few examples of the current UI. Surge is a cloud based SaS program with all the features you would expect from a modern cloud service. We have worked hard to get the engineering portion of the code correct so although the GUI may seem a bit basic here, it will become much more advanced once we are certain we've covered all of the essential engineering requirements.
